My name is Somnath Dey, and I am the owner of Save More Calc. I reside in Katwa, West Bengal, India. A graduate in Advanced Accountancy (Honours) from Burdwan University (2012), I have also studied Banking, Taxation, Finance, and Economics.
Technical and Professional Expertise
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including complex formulas), banking and financial calculations, and Tally software has been demonstrated. In web technologies, expertise in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript has been established.
Career Journey
- In 2015, employment commenced at the Government Sub‑Divisional Office in Katwa.
- Subsequent roles included positions at TVS Automobile Company and as a Subject‑Matter Expert at Chegg.com.
- A tenure at Tech Mahindra in Kolkata was followed by a return to Chegg.com.
